ARRL Forums are Open for Business
I haven’t seen anything on this on Twitter, but every now and again, I like to make sure to check the ARRL’s website for info on what’s going on. It seems that a lot of it seems to not make it to Twitter. Either no one’s retweeting it or I keep missing it on the ARRL’s Twitter.

Texas May Lose 2 Meter Simplex Frequencies
I saw this story come across my Twitter feed the other night, and figured I should pass this along. According to Aaron Scott, WX5VHF, The Texas VHF-FM Society is planning on changing the 2 meter band plan for Texas to make more room for D-Star repeater pairs by using simplex frequencies, but those simplex frequencies appear to be in heavy use throughout the state.

Ham Radio and Twitter – Like Peanut Butter and Jelly
Like any geek, I love when new things come out that look really cool and fun. I want to try them out right away. Google+ is one example. I begged for invites to get on. But before that was Twitter.
