We’re another week closer to Christmas and I’m happy to report all Christmas shopping in the household is complete. But then again, Kim was done back in June! So it looks like we’re ready for Christmas. How about you?

I added a new element to the show, sound effects! This is not something new, as I use them sometimes in Amiga Roundtable. But it does add another layer to the show. I’m going to try and use them sparingly as I don’t want to be know as crazy sound effects guy.But as for the the rest of this episode, we of course talked about the goings on locally. The nice warm weather, Kim’s discovery that Starbucks is getting expensive and all the holiday traveling we are doing. Mostly between here and Utica, NY, but it’s for family, so it is worth it.

We moved into some celeb stuff as we haven’t checked into that wacky world lately. Namely, musical celebs, as the Grammy Concert took place recently. Kim and I wondered what this concert was, as this was the first either of us had heard about it. And it was televised, but we didn’t watch it. We talked a little about Kanye West and(Hold on Hold on Rich, I’m gonna let you finish but first I wanted to say that**BOOTS KAYNE OFF THE KEYBOARD**..) Bruno Mars getting some Grammy love, as well as Michael Buble’ stealing some of Rihanna’s thunder on the charts. Plus Kim called it about Neil Diamond going on tour at Thanksgiving dinner. She said he comes out to preform, when he plans a tour. Sure enough, he drops a new album and announced a tour. She’s good!

Then we did a list of the top 25 songs of 2011. Some of them, I never heard, so I must be living in a cave. But we of course talked a bit about some of the songs on the list, and gave our take. And on a personal note, I didn’t get any “looks” from Kim this episode. So I’m doing good! That’s all for this episode, catch ya next Wednesday!
