KARS Episode 40 – The Best of The Kim & Rich Show

So Kim and I are on vacation this week, and since we didn't want to carry all our stuff around, we decided to do a "Best of..." show for you. So I went through the library and found some of the clips I thought we didn't sound like a stinky pile of socks and pulled them out. And this is what I got.

KARS Episode 31 – Channeling Grissom

If you can't tell by the title we are in CSI mode. I have been a CSI fan mainly since the beginning. I stopped watching a few years ago after Grissom left. But before that I was able to get Rich to be a CSI fan and I have season 1 through 9 on DVD so we are making our way through the seasons. So this episode we had to throw in some Grissom-isms!

So one of the big questions on the the Amiga.org website, has been who's the new owner that took over from Wayne Hunt? We tried to get him on the show before, and it didn't work out. But he's come to us asking to be on and we've welcomed him with open arms!

There was a lot of news coverage for then Hurricane Irene and what people should do and not do during the storm as well as get ready. Kim, my YL, and I did what we needed, to get ready and we felt pretty set and ready to ride out the storm. But as luck would have it, there really wasn't that much to ride out where we were. We got lucky.

So I have been doing this blog regular now for a couple months, and I must admit, that when I start something new nowadays, I get a "..For Dummies" book to help me get started. From there I move on to more advanced aspects of the project or hobby. But it wasn't like that with Ham Radio. ART Episode 50 – FINALLY!!
