Meet The Hosts of Our Shows
Rich Lawrence – Hosts: Amiga Roundtable, Carrier Whistle, NewsTek, Tuesday Night Train Wreck
Rich is a professional radio personality for the last 18 years, and is currently on the air in Albany and Utica, N.Y. for Townsquare Media. He is also Executive Producer and owner of AmiZed Studios. You can listen to Rich on Q103 Sundays from 6-10p Eastern and on Lite 98.7 Saturdays from 8p-12a via their website’s online player.
Sean Fitzgerald – Hosts: Amiga Roundtable
An avid fan of alternative operating systems Sean brings his own unique insight of the Amiga Family of OSes and a little silliness from the community’s own bi-polar actions about their favorite platform.
Mike Blackburn- Hosts: Amiga Roundtable
Mike is a hacker in the true sense. Always tinkering with his computers and software. Former editor of AmigaWeb.net, Mike is now editor of AmigaZ.org. Like other co-hosts, Mike started out as a guest on Amiga Roundtable, and ended up staying on.
Bill P. – Hosts: Amiga Roundtable, NewsTek
Bill came on Amiga Roundtable as a guest as well and stayed on to become a host. Later he took the e-zine NewsTek and changed it to a podcast and invited Rich to help produce it. He is also the founder of DiscreetFX.
Eddie Cejvan – Hosts: Amiga Roundtable
Eddie is a coder from “Down Under”. He came on the show as an “alternate” host via our “Host for a Day” posts on community websites. He did such a good job, he’s now part of the show as well. While he isn’t in many shows, what he brings to the discussions, adds a lot!
Mike Leach – Hosts: Carrier Whistle, Tuesday Night Train Wreck
Mike, better known as “Miker”, is a musician, artist and all around fun guy. He’s also an avid Linux user and loves “Uncommon” musical artists. He started as the subject of a video podcast called “Confessions of a Drunk”, but moved up to being co-host of The Carrier Whistle, and has ideas on deck for other shows.
Joe Solmo – Hosts: Splatter Joe’s Super Freakin’ Awesome Interview Show
Joe was front man for a local metal band called Splatguts. But after the band broke up, he started interviewing local unsigned and underground bands, in his own unique way. Funny and weird are just 2 words to describe it. But it’s still fun!
Lorie M. – Hosts: Tuesday Night Train Wreck
A regular view and participant of the inspiration for Train Wreck, Lorie jumped at the chance to do a quick show to quell the calls of boredom from other viewers and listeners when the show canceled a regularly scheduled broadcast. She teamed up with Rich and Miker and the rest just happened. She is also the first female co-host at AmiZed.
