The title says it all – it is my favorite week of the year (besides my birthday MONTH of course!) However with age comes responsibility so this is also the busiest week of the year! Cookies and pies to bake, cleaning to do, wrapping to do, parties to attend, friends to entertain, traveling again – I’m making myself dizzy just thinking about it all! But nonetheless I am very excited....

We’re back! After a couple weeks off due to Rich’s failed hard drive, we are back and better then ever. Well at least I think so! We have set up station on his other computer until we get a new hard drive so the weekly shows will be returning! Here we are again, another week and we have another episode. This is becoming a habit. Bad or good, is still debatable. Hopefully your past week has been good for you. So let me preface this post with the fact that I absolutely LOVE Christmas! It’s not about the gifts or anything…just the whole spirit of the season. Stores already have Christmas decorations out and Halloween hasn’t even hit yet! What do I not like about the season? The snow of course. We made it through Hurricane turned tropical storm Irene pretty much unscathed, however some others were not so lucky. The floods around here were incredible and many people lost their homes to the waters. What is going on with the weather lately? Hurricanes, incredible floods, earthquakes…and now we’re in the middle of nothing but rain and fall temperatures coming. We are also ready for... 

Kim, Terry and I survived Hurricane Irene. Well, by the time it got to us, it was a Tropical Storm. But still, we were a little worried about what we were going to get.
