There is a podcast I listen to every now and again, called the Buffet Line. It’s called that, because it’s recorded at Chinese buffets around the Albany, N.Y. area by local hams, who gather every Saturday to sit, eat, talk and just socialize. Sometimes what gets recorded is a little “adult” in nature. Stuff you wouldn’t necessarily say on repeaters, but still a good chuckle.... 

While I was trying to rack my brain for an idea of what to post today, I saw that the New York Times Tech Talk Podcast, has a little story about Ham Radio. Walt Baranger, who is a ham, and I couldn’t confirm, his call sign, talks about Ham Radio and explains in a simple way, how to get into the hobby. He also goes on to talk about Field Day. Walt was also invited back to talk about his results...

The trick is getting people interested in that particular story to generate response.
