December 9, 2008 8:41 pm AmiZed NewsIf you are a BBS SysOp and would like to offer the Carrier Whistle Podcast for download on your BBS, as well as the other AmiZed podcasts (Amiga Roundtable, NewsTek, and Confessions of a Drunk), they are released under the Creative Commons Attribution-Noncommercial-Share Alike License.

The podcasts comes in 2 versions: 96Kbps Mono and 160Kbps Stereo. Only the 96K Mono version is posted. The 160K version is available by request only.
The only thing I ask, aside from adhering to the CC license, is to let me know if you post it on your BBS for download, so I may link to your
BBS web page or telnet link. If anyone has any questions, feel free to contact me.

Guess I am wondering how this would work since I am still new to the podcast idea.

Pretty much, just download and add to your file library on your BBS. This is mostly just to let folks know, it’s all open and there for SysOps to share with their users.
You could use a script or something to grab a new episode and save it to your BBS somehow.
