To give you some info on tha AROS bounty #47, TeX is a typesetting system. We can create pdf/ps/dvi documents with it, alas not the  wysiwyg way. It is mostly used for technical documents with math formulas and figures.

Well, this is not a sexy feature for AROS; but porting it helped much in finding some bugs in the system.
