MobbyGART Episode 20 - BBRV is Back!

4:00 pm Amiga Roundtable

Hosts: Rich Lawrence, Sean Fitzgerald, Bill Panagouleas. Guest: Bill Buck

My apologies for this LATE episode. Late is a mild term to say the least. Between working a 16 day stretch and the passing of my father, I really didn’t have much time or ambition to get this one out. I apologize. But, for what it’s worth, we’re back next week. Thanks for sticking with us.

  • OWB Updates
  • New AROS SDK for AmiDevCpp
  • 10 Years Amiga Future: New downloads and special offers
  • NatAmiga Shown At MeKa 2008
  • BBRV talks about LimePC and other happenings.

Nice to hear from ART again after such a long time without a new episode.
I really appreciate the last episode, gave it 5 stars :-)

I quite agree with you, AA2 isn’t the great thing AInc. want to make us believe.
No virtualization, no real platform independance, no operating system, no nothing …
Maybe it’s a good cross platform game development kit for at least 2 different platforms
(win32, winCE). For me it is not much more than a hole in a bubble ;-)

I too spend much time on amiga forums a day. There is quite a mix of euphoric mood and
resignation among the members of the community. On one side, we have MiniMig and NatAmi,
such enthusiastic private projects, or new browsers, like Traveller, Sputnik and Origin Web Browser.
On the other side there’s the lawsuite, preventing Amiga OS4 reaching a wider user base.

I’m certain, in the near future great things will happen in the amiga community.
The community itself is the driving force behind it. And I would like to hear this from you guys at ART!

Great work and keep it going!

Yay! You read my comment. :)
Good to here from y’all again.

The NatAmiga sounds cool, though given it uses an FPGA, like the C-One it could potentially be any number of computers from the past.

Viva la Revolucion!
